About me:
Ko Ngati Kahungunu Ki Heretaunga, Ngati Porou, Kai Tahu me Te Au Pouri oku Iwi.
I am a mama of 5 and married to Rawiri Maniapoto. My children are from ages 13 - 3 years of age. I have been apart of the Youth Sector for 16 years, bringing my lived experience to my mahi and also my passion and heart for people. I have always been in community focused roles throughout my career have always had a heart to serve and help whānau.
I have been in whānau ora, emergency housing and advocating for whānau from all walks of life.
I am also a board of trustees representative for Te Kura o Haeata Community Campus - I have been representing since January 2024. I am currently a Co-managing the Lions Rubgy League Club since 2022 - this has been a great experience as I love watching all my kids play sport and keeping active.
In my spare time, I love watching the sunrise and spending time with whānau - I love a good games night with friends, doing karaoke and dancing!
