About me:
I have over 15 years of experience developing young people's leadership skills. Through my experience being a trust manager and secondary school teacher I understand the tensions between building positive relationships while keeping professional boundaries.
I see youth work as an awesome opportunity to build confidence in our young people and share the hope we have in Jesus. It gets me excited seeing the positive impact youth work has on our tamariki. ‘Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as you are already doing’ (1 Thess 5.11)
After many years of receiving supervision I see it as a very important space to encourage people in the awesome work they are doing and provide a safe space to share and process concerns.
Nā tō rourou, nā taku rourou ka ora ai te iwi. With your food basket and my food basket, the people will thrive.
