Our Projects

Rerenga Awa | Canterbury Youth Workers Collective has a long and rich history. Under the care and guidance of our staff, collaborators, and volunteers, the Collective has been involved in many different projects over the years. Although some of these projects have run their course, there are some which we still umbrella, and others which have spun off and into their own entity.

Check out below for a snapshot of what we're currently involved in and some of our historic projects. Let us know if there's something you'd like to see and if we can help get you where you want to be!

SCOPE was umbrellaed by Rerenga Awa from 2010-2018 when it moved to its own charitable trust.

Measuring actual organisational effectiveness with young people rather than less important indicators that are easier to measure. Scope assessments measure an organisation’s effectiveness with regard to youth development, programme design, governance & management, community connectedness and safe practice. The assessment focuses on how an organisation is doing in both its practice and systems. This comprehensive approach allows an organisation to focus on the key areas of improvement.
